16/05/2008 - 6th Pancyprian Strawberry Festival (Dherynia, "Anagennisi" Sports Venue).
Each year the town of Deryneia celebrates one of its most popular exports in this fun festival for all the family. The area is a huge strawberry-growing region and after the hard work in the fields is done, the local communities come together for a big celebration that includes a craft fair, live entertainment, children's entertainment and not to mention plenty of opportunities to try some of the produce in various forms including strawberry sweets, strawberry milkshakes and good old fashioned strawberries and cream.
